Why did you die so soon.. I came to check on you yesterday and you were alive and jumping.. literally. I came back this morning only to find out that you have been buried by your cage mate... ARGH!!! Now there is only two infected mice left that was infected with a very very mild inoculation. I am worried sick to my stomach now, if the parasites dies. EEE!!! where on earth is that cryopreserve recipe....

All u need are some cryoprotectants such as glycerol, ethylene glycerol or DMSO. You want to cryopreserve blood or what? normally a mixture of DMSO and glycerol will do. Of course, more recipes can be found on journals.

yup2, i have a general idea of the ingredient but the exact amount is something i still need research on. some more i need to test the how to cool it down first, do i straight away put in -20, -40, or -80 before puting it in liquid nitrogen.

boleh buat 9:1
9-cell
1-dmso/gliserol
kena simpan dlm -20 dulu..for 4 jam then ke -80 then baru ke liquid nitrogen..that is for cell line - cell culture..x sure method sama ke tak..i think lebih kurang sama je..
